FINANCING

We have framework agreements with financial institutions which can finance up to 80% of the installation cost.

The income produces an IRR yield above 10%.

We have agreements with insurance companies where all the possible unforeseen events are covered (theft, fire, hail, wind, lighting, etc.), as well as the loss of profit from a stop in production.

Depending on the town halls and autonomous communities, complimentary aid exists to promote investment in renewable energies.

We provide advice on financing to maximize the profitability of your installation.

What is a solar farm?

A solar farm is a site or space in which small photovoltaic installations from different owners share infrastructure and services.

As an approximate calculation, it is worth mentioning that an hectare of solar farm (including panels, transformation centres, inverters, access roads, fencing…) can provide the energy consumed by 130 families.

For an installation rated at 100 kW, the maximum economic production in the Spanish state in some islands of the Canary Archipelago, like Lanzarote, with figures which are around 54,000 €/year. The investment can be self-financed with the profits, between 9 and 12 years depending on the financial load. Another advantage is the complete refund of the VAT or IGIC (Canary Islands) of the installation, which is applicable to both physical individuals and companies, to which an 8% tax relief is added for environmental investment.

Sortu Energía includes financial management, as well as the administrative processing and the complete maintenance of the Plants, offering the owner the possibility to control annual, monthly and daily production through the Internet.

The solar farm concept is evolving towards the concept of a Network of Producers or Electranet. ELECTRANET is a combination of the democratic freedom of Internet applied to electrical energy, a free network of energy producers, indigenous, renewable and cleaner energy of course. Solar farms, panels on roofs, biomass plants, wind farms and any private initiative has the right to access the electricity grid and this is already legally supported at a European level.

Lifespan of a photovoltaic installation

There are two types of photovoltaic installations. Those which generate electricity for self-consumption and those which dump their production into the electricity grid. Here we will only refer to the latter. The photovoltaic plant is basically made up of a series of panels or modules which capture solar radiation and an inverter. The useful life of these elements is estimated between 30 and 40 years. Manufacturers provide production guarantees for the modules of 80% for 25 years.

Guaranteed Pension Plan

SOLAR FOTOVOLTAICA

energy is a type of investment which guarantees your future and is guaranteed by the Royal Decree. The objective of photovoltaic solar installations connected to the grid is to produce electricity which is sold to electricity companies at a guaranteed price by the legislation in force at each moment. This amortizes the investment rapidly, obtaining important profits in a short number of years.  This type of investment is an excellent alternative to a pension plan, with optimal profit and benefit conditions.

The Decree Law assures that the electricity producers under special regulations can sell the electricity generated through E.S. Fotovoltaica at a guaranteed price.

  • All the electricity production generated by the installation bought by law by the electricity companies.
  • The price of the energy is also fixed by law.
  • The solar farm is installed at the greatest solar radiation point and solar hours for Spain, which is why its production will always be the highest and most profitable.
  • Low maintenance costs.
  • Reduced investment since 80% of the capital is financed by financial institutions.
  • The investment generates an IRR yield of around 10%.

Maintenance

To maximize the output of the installation throughout its useful life, a series of maintenance tasks must be done such as:  the cleaning of the panels, inspections, etc. We offer an installation maintenance contract which is included in the amortization schedule.
